Commissioned by Peter Sheridan, low flutes specialist. This wonderfully playful piece, in three short movements, extended the range of the contrabass flute and provides plenty of challenge for both the bassist and the flutist. Piano is supportive.

Neher -Mucumber McGee and the Half-Eaten Hot Dog (2008) for soprano, tenor, double bass and piano. Based on the children's book of the same name by Patrick Loehr, the story tells of a young boy who is afraid that he has eaten an un-cooked hotdog that will result in his demise. His mother comes to the rescue, telling him that hot-dogs are pre-cooked. A wonderful light-opera for children and adults of all ages. Jazzy and tuneful, of moderate challenge.
